You can now log and track your body measurements right alongside your workouts in Steady. Whether you are tracking the growth of your biceps or keeping an eye on your waistline during a cut, you have a beautiful, dedicated space to see the trends over time.

Privacy First: Unlike many fitness apps, your most personal data belongs to you. Body measurements in Steady are stored securely on your local device and in your encrypted iCloud account. We never share or access your measurement data.

Every lifter’s needs are different. You can now deeply personalize Steady by choosing exactly which tabs and features appear in your bottom navigation bar. Hide what you don’t use and keep your most important tools just a tap away for a truly distraction-free experience.

  • Edit Past Workouts: Realize you logged 225 lbs instead of 255 lbs two weeks ago? You can now edit any previously completed workout session directly from your History tab to keep your long-term records flawlessly accurate.
  • Streamlined Alternatives: We’ve unified Steady’s curated alternative exercise suggestions with your personal saved alternatives. The cleaner interface gives you better control, allowing you to easily opt-in to add Steady’s curated picks to your own list.
  • Dark Mode & Interface Enhancements: Subtle visual improvements make interactions smoother across the app. We’ve also refined Dark Mode contrast for better clarity, perfect for late-night gym sessions.

Steady 2.2 includes significant under-the-hood optimizations to make logging faster than ever:

  • Blazing Fast Set Completion: Tapping to complete a set and finishing your workout is now noticeably snappier.
  • Optimized Custom Exercises: Large custom exercise images are now automatically optimized before saving to reduce your storage footprint, and exercise lists load much faster by utilizing thumbnail previews.
  • Backup Support: Custom exercise images are now fully included in the local backup and restore flow.
  • Progression Tweaks: Refinements to the progression algorithm ensure smarter weight and rep suggestions.
  • Squashed Bugs: Fixed the “Slide to Finish Workout” glitch, issues with overlapping search results on the keyboard, and an error that allowed opening a second workout screen from Home while one was already active.
