Share Steady Pro with Family

One yearly Steady Pro subscription can now cover you and up to five other family members through Apple Family Sharing. That’s up to six people using Pro with a single yearly subscription.

This includes current yearly subscribers as well as anyone choosing the yearly plan from now on. If you already subscribe yearly, the sharing benefit is included in the subscription you have.

We wanted to give this addition its own introduction. If someone in your family also lifts, you can now bring them into Pro without each of you paying for a separate yearly subscription.

Useful even when there are only two of you

You don’t need six people to make Family Sharing worthwhile. If you and your partner both use Steady, one yearly subscription can give you both access to Pro.

Maybe you rotate between a full gym and a home setup, while your partner follows a shorter routine during the working week. You can each build the programs that fit your schedule and use Pro in the way that helps your own training.

There is no need to follow the same program, train at the same gym, or work toward the same numbers.

Different routines, the same Pro tools

Family Sharing gives included family members access to Steady’s Pro features. That means practical tools for the way each person trains:

  • Multiple programs for different training blocks or equipment setups.
  • Smarter weight recommendations and automatic progression to help plan the next workout using recent performance.
  • Supersets for organizing paired exercises.
  • Exercise notes for machine settings, useful cues, and what happened during a session.

You might use multiple programs to keep home and gym training organized. Another family member might rely on notes to remember a machine adjustment or use supersets to fit a session into a lunch break. The same subscription can support those different needs.

Each person uses their own Apple Account and keeps their own routines and workout history. Sharing Pro access doesn’t combine everyone’s training into one log.

How to share your yearly subscription

  1. Set up an Apple Family Sharing group and invite the family members you want to include.
  2. Open your Apple subscription settings and check that sharing is enabled for your yearly Steady Pro subscription.
  3. Have each included family member install Steady on their own iPhone using their own Apple Account in the family group.

Already a yearly subscriber? Existing subscribers need to opt into sharing in Apple’s subscription settings. You don’t need to buy another yearly subscription to get this benefit.

Apple’s guide to sharing subscriptions explains the current settings. If someone cannot access Pro, check those settings before making another purchase.

Start with the way you already train

Steady’s core workout logging remains free forever. Pro adds tools for planning and progressing, and the yearly subscription now lets you share those tools with your family.

If you already have yearly Pro, check your sharing settings and invite a family member who would find it useful. If you’re considering Pro, open Steady to see the yearly plan and its current price and terms.
